Tom Hussey

Tom Hussey, inspired by Grandfather George T. Miller, began painting in oils at age twelve. Over forty years later he has not lost enthusiasm for putting paint on canvas.
Tom frequently paints “en plein air” with oils and also utilizes acrylics and pastels for studio work.
From the coast of Maine to the Finger Lakes of New York, Tom finds the region a landscape painter’s paradise. “In addition to inspiring local subject material, I also get a chance to see exhibits of great painters at museums throughout the area,” he notes.
Tom is a member of the Seneca County Arts Council and Just Desserts Art Guild. He teaches painting classes at the Onondaga Seniors Center. His work can be seen at the Lighthouse Gallery in Bucksport, Maine, The Rivers Edge Gallery in Kerrville, Texas and the Artworks Gallery in Seneca Falls, NY.
